Who am I?

I am a grandmother. I am a mother. I am owned by a cat. I am a teacher and a student. I am a traveller. After a few, recent, difficult years, the kind we all seem to encounter as we, far too rapidly, approach the end of our 50s, I decided it is high time to take my chances with doing the unexpected, (here my children can claim this is nothing new). In the last three years I started riding my bike again; I started walking more; I took the train across Canada, and back. I became hooked on solo travel. Every once in a while my grandchild claims I cannot be left unattended. Here are some of my unattended adventures in my backyard and across the globe.

  1. I just wanted to thank you again for your comments on my “typos” post. I also want to apologize for the comments of someone who rather poorly commented on your comment. His opinions do not reflect mine and I do not appreciate his tone or lack of tact.
I am not a big fan of his comments, but do not rate him in the troll category. As such, I have done little to dissuade him (except when he blamed something on democratic politics in the Trump way of name calling–which I cannot abide and fail to understand why people do not see through).
I have considered blocking him, but don’t really see that as a solution. I do not follow his blog, and would never put a “like” for comments which I deem disrespectful or insulting. I am okay when he corrects my typos–though try correcting his and you’ll see the list of excuses as to why he is different quickly pile up.
    I am getting off topic.
I just wanted to say thank you and apologize.
Have a great rest of the weekend, despite it being one hour shorter.
